Leather has always been more than just material to me — it’s my family’s legacy.
My grandfather started a small workshop decades ago, crafting leather jackets entirely by hand. What began as his passion quickly became a renowned manufacturing house, producing jackets for some of the biggest global brands. Our name became trusted in the industry, but something was always missing: the connection with the people who would actually wear the jackets we made.
I grew up watching our artisans at work — men and women whose fathers had stitched alongside my grandfather, and whose children would later work alongside my father. Generation after generation, our family and theirs have carried this craft forward. It’s not just a business. It’s our inheritance.
But I realized something that changed everything: all those jackets we produced for big labels were made in standard sizes. They were designed to “fit most,” but they never truly fit anyone perfectly. And I thought — why should anyone settle for less, when a leather jacket should feel like a second skin?
That’s why I created Genuine Leather Works. Not just to continue my grandfather’s legacy, but to make it more personal. I wanted to build a brand where every jacket is custom-tailored, handmade, and designed for the individual who will wear it.
